Fantastic Day of car, music, and sun
The day started out with a few cars while we were still setting up. 10 am rolled around and we began seeing more cars and trucks come into the parking lot. By 11 am there were 67 cars, trucks, and a motorcycle. The day ended with Gary & Lori Johnson winning the Best in Show with their 47 Chevy Coupe.
Not only did we have food from Lucy's Lunch Box and El Buen Gusto we offer a large array of vendors to satisfy anyone's shopping needs. Some vendors were at the car show and others were placed around town in front of businesses that played in the poker walk.
Car show participants were given a poker walk card and they were asked to walk around town to 7 businesses and pick a playing card from the deck. The person with the best hand wins. It was 4 of a kind that won the gift basket worth $200. Participants had a vote for their choice for best car in show, Participants Choice Award went to Gary O'Halloran from Yakima with his 1930 Maxwell.
