Historic Downtown Prosser Association (HDPA) is a nonprofit organization formed in 2006 by community members dedicated to the preservation, enhancement, and revitalization of Prosser’s downtown core.

As a Main Street America™ Accredited program, HDPA is a recognized leading program among the national network of more than 1,200 neighborhoods and communities who share both a commitment to creating high-quality places and to building stronger communities through preservation-based economic development

The Position:

We’re looking for an Executive Director to lead our efforts. The compensation package we’re offering is up to $62,000.00 depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

The Executive Director is responsible for the coordination of the activities of HDPA, as defined by the organizational by-laws utilizing historic preservation as an integral foundation for downtown revitalization and economic development. The position reports to the President of the Board of Directors of HDPA.

Preparation

Prefer: BA in related professional field; two years’ experience leading a non-profit organization; strong documentation of the listed attributes; knowledge level of Washington Mainstreet and experience working with and leading a Board of Directors.
