As a Main Street America™ Accredited program, Historic Prosser Downtown Association is a recognized leading program among the national network of more than 1,200 neighborhoods and communities who share both a commitment to creating high-quality places and to building stronger communities through preservation-based economic development. All Main Street America™ Accredited programs meet a set of National Accreditation Standards of Performance as outlined by the National Main Street Center.
Meet Our Executive Director Kristine Perales
Hello, my name is Kristine and I am so excited to be your new Historic Downtown Prosser Director. Looking ahead, I’m excited about the collaborative vision of Historic Downtown Prosser (HDP). We aim to strengthen and support our local businesses by revitalizing and preserving our historic buildings, creating a vibrant and prosperous downtown. We strive to create a thriving downtown that attracts tourists and encourages the community to shop, dine, and relax locally. I’m eager to work with various local organizations, including the Prosser Chamber of Commerce, the City of Prosser, Parks and Recreation, Prosser Leadership, Prosser Community Volunteers, the Farmers Market, Prosser Economic Development, Tour Prosser, and Rotary, among others.
Historic Downtown Prosser always welcomes new volunteers. There are countless ways to get involved, whether joining a committee, helping with events like the Sip & Stroll, or watering downtown flowers. Meet Our Market Manager Rita Brown
My name is Rita Brown, I am very excited to be your Prosser Farmer’s Market Manager. I have lived on
both sides of the state and am so thankful to have moved back in 2015. Back to the area of my birth,
that I love so much. I will draw upon my experience as a small blueberry farmer (and avid farmers
market customer) to bring you great produce, art/crafts, delicious food, concessions, and more. I look
forward to seeing you all as vendors, customers, volunteers or just walking through to say hello. Let’s
make this a market that we all love to attend- See You At The Market!
