Meet the Artist – Jolene VerMulm

Our round 2 of Painted Ponies is nearing completion as the ponies are getting their clear coats on in preparation for their public unveiling SOON! We are excited to introduce our 9 artists who worked on this round of ponies. Here is the 9th of 9.

Jolene VerMulm remembers drawing and painting during her elementary school years, but really fell in love with charcoal, watercolor and pastel painting in high school. She is most inspired by young children, flowers and animals.

Jolene loves seeing color combinations work together, influence and complement each other. She and her husband, Frank, have raised their children here in Prosser and love the small-town agriculture feel. This project became a family collaboration and represents the fun and memorable times of life on a farm.

Jolene cherishes her job as wife to Frank and mom to Nick, Elle, Hidi, Hana, Hali, Levi, Nati, Hans, Anya, Case and Bode. While she does not consider herself to be a formal artist, creativity in the form of painting, home design, architecture, landscaping, floral design and interior decorating weaves throughout her daily life and fills her soul with joy.

Thanks for sharing your talent with Historic Downtown Prosser Jolene!
