Mikaila started drawing and painting around age 3. She has loved making art as long as she can remember. Her favorite part about painting is seeing a blank canvas transform from nothing into something exciting and beautiful. She enjoys seeing a project come together and loves being able to express herself through art. 

This is Mikaila’s second time painting a pony. She had so much fun during the first round, she decided to try again! She admitted her art takes a long time to create, as she really puts all her effort into each piece.

Mikaila has had the privilege of participating in the Caren Mercer-Andreasen Street Painting Festival for the last 4 years. And her talent is displayed on the mural next to the Green Room on Meade Avenue. While she doesn’t currently have her art displayed or for sale anywhere, she is planning to expand her art portfolio soon so that she can start selling her work in the future.
