A fantastic partnership has grown between Historic Downtown and the Prosser Farmers Market.

We were able to spend a couple Saturdays in May handing out giant pumpkin seeds in preparation for Pumpkin Palooza in October.

And we’ll be there regularly throughout the season!

We are working together to offer a kids’ activity one Saturday each month throughout the Farmers Market season.

These are free activities for kids to participate in while supplies last.

In May we actually did two different activities two Saturdays in a row!

What’s coming up? This Saturday, June 16th, we’ll be helping kids make a Dad’s Day piggy bank.

In July, we’ll be doing A-Zucchini derby races on the 14th.

In August, we’ll be sharing a story and eating a rainbow of produce on the 18th.

In September we’ll be hosting our annual Streetscape Car Show downtown on the 15th, you’ll have to come see us there after you’ve finished your market shopping.

And then we’ll finish up with Pumpkin Palooza on October 13th. Hope to see you at the market!
