Small Business Saturday Success
What a fabulous day of community support! We can account for over $26,000 being spent in our local businesses on Saturday, November 27th. This is the 4th year we have intentionally promoted and marketed the national movement with phenomenal engagement and growth each year. It really keeps getting bigger and better because of Prosser showing up to Love Local!
The Grinch and Santa met up at the intersection of Meade Avenue and 6th Street. They then spent the day escorted around downtown by the Miss Prosser candidates and handing out candy canes and pieces of chocolate coal. Local artisans filled both the Princess Green Room and the Historic Mercer building with their beautiful creations. There were 3 free showings of The Polar Express at the Princess Theatre. We drew gift certificates for 28 lucky shoppers!
The weather stayed nice and shoppers meandered among shops with smiles and purchases galore. We are appreciative on behalf of the businesses and incredibly grateful to everyone who showed up to support local.
